I'm honored to announce that Patty Paine selected my co-written manuscript with Brynn Saito, Bright Power, Dark Peace, as the winner of the Diode Editions Chapbook Competition. Congratulations as well to Philip Metres, who will also have his chapbook published, and to all the other finalists.

I was very excited earlier this week to learn that Roxane Gay selected my work as the winner of Passages North's Just Desserts Short-Short Fiction Prize. It will be my first piece of published fiction.

This afternoon I found out my poem "The Silk Road Epistles" was selected for Mary Biddinger for the 2011 Best of the Net anthology. Thanks Mary! And thanks Interrupture for originally publishing the poem.

This morning the Dorothy Sargen Rosenberg Poetry Prize published their list of 2011 Award Winners of all the winners. My thanks to the DSR memorial fund for their support of poets and congrats to all the other winners!
