Last week I was interviewed at Woman-Stirred Radio along with Sandra Beasley and Dorianne Laux. I'm lucky to be in such company.

The local NPR station, WMUK, posted an interview with me this week to celebrate my local book release in Kalamazoo.

I was very excited earlier this week to learn that Roxane Gay selected my work as the winner of Passages North's Just Desserts Short-Short Fiction Prize. It will be my first piece of published fiction.

For National Poetry Month the blog Tattoosday is featuring a different tattooed poet every day along with the story of their tattoo and a poem. My duende and I are up today.

The good people at Poetry Daily featured my poem "Come Trembling" on their website today. I've been reading Poetry Daily for nine years and it's always an honor to have my work appear there.

Our Lady of the Ruins made the Poetry Foundation's Best Sellers LIst at #22 in its debut week. My thanks to all those who've supported the book!

Library Journal listed Our Lady in their "Voices on the Verge: 14 New Poets for National Poetry Month" feature.

The good news abounds! The fabulous Chloe Honum reviewed Our Lady on Ron Slate's blog On the Seawall for National Poetry Month.

The good people at Thrush Press have transformed the poetry comic created by Eryn Cruft and myself into a chapbook. More information here.

Today's Poetry Daily newsletter features my Poets Pick, Mary Wroth's first sonnet in Pamphilia to Amphilanthus about which I said: "Love, which should be what’s best in us, comes to Pamphilia as damnation and savior. I'm terrified it's true that love must ruin us before it can redeem us."
